Overlord & the Critters

Overlord manages a collection of small, purpose-built tools that handle different pieces of my Hoard. I call them the Critters.

The goal is not speed. The goal is trust.
The Critters validate what they are given instead of quietly guessing. When something does not match, looks suspicious, or needs a human decision, they stop and ask rather than silently changing the Hoard.

Meet the Critters

This is where the individual tools will live: what each one does, where it fits in the workflow, and screenshots of it working with the real Hoard.

🐿️ Squirrel

Gathers “acorns” from multiple inputs and prepares them for the other Critters.

Meet Squirrel →

🐇 Rabbit

Applies validated changes and builds candidate collection snapshots for review.

🕳️ Mole

Moves approved changes safely into the master collection while handling versions and archives.

🦝 Raccoon

Counts the resulting Hoard, checks its integrity, and produces collection-wide summaries.

🦡 Ferret

Follows the trail through completed batches so I can see what changed and how it happened.

🦉 Owl

Helps verify the physical collection against what the records say should be there.

🦫 Beaver & Weasel

Lookup and inspection helpers for working with sets, records, and the Hoard.

Built Locally, Kept Locally

Overlord and the Critters run locally. The collection stays on the PC instead of depending on a cloud service, subscription, or account just to keep working with it.

Tools built by a collector, for collectors.
